Ensemble Health Partners Sponsors Golf Tournament to Benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

Ensemble Health Partners is proud to have sponsored the 13th Annual Chi Omega Golf Tournament, held annually to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year's tournament was held on Saturday, October 14, at Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville, NC. 

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was established to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Wishes make a positive impact on children and their families, and the Ensemble team is proud to have supported this great cause!

Ensemble Health Partners Recognized as Lake Norman Corporate Diversity Champion

Ensemble Health Partners announced today that it has been recognized by the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Diversity Council as the 2017 Corporate Diversity Champion.

Ensemble was recognized at a sold out luncheon held at River Run Country Club in Davidson. Leah Curry, VP, Human Resources, accepted the award on behalf of Ensemble for the company’s work as champions of diversity and inclusiveness, as well as the organization’s commitment to charity.

Ensemble Health Partners’ approach to hiring is to attract, retain and develop professionals that are reflective of the communities in which we live and work, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, age or sexual orientation.

Ensemble Health Partners Raises Nearly $10,000 for Hurricane Relief

Ensemble Health Partners donated nearly $10,000 to the American Red Cross today to aid in the relief and rebuild efforts of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Ensemble associates across the country donated their time, money and resources to help those affected by the hurricanes. 

Ensemble's Portneuf Medical Center Associates Donate School Supplies to Jefferson Elementary

The Ensemble Patient Access and Patient Accounts teams at Portneuf Medical Center in Idaho recently collected donations for a school supply drive to benefit Jefferson Elementary School. The team was proud to support Jefferson Elementary's goal of preparing students for the future by educating the whole child; intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. 

Hurricane Harvey Relief

September 5, 2017 
Hurricane Harvey and the flooding that came after has created one of the largest disasters in the U.S. The storm inflicted widespread devastation on the area, and federal officials have already indicated it will take years to rebuild from the destruction. Ensemble Health Partners associates across the country have shown their support of the Harvey Relief efforts, both monetarily to the American Red Cross (with a matching contribution from Ensemble Health Partners), as well as in support of a supply drive to help with the rebuild. 

Ensemble's Pascack Valley Team Gives Back

August 12, 2017 
Ensemble associates at Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center volunteered today at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. The mission of the Community Food Bank is to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need and seeking long-term solutions. Last year, the Community Food Bank distributed over 50 million pounds of food through more than 1,000 community partners like local soup kitchens and food pantries. This food – all 42 million meals – reached people in need across the state. We are proud of our associates in New Jersey that participated in this Ensemble Gives Back activity.  

Ensemble Teams Up With the Charlotte Knights to Support Beds for Kids

Today, Ensemble hosted a Night at the Ballpark in partnership with the Charlotte Knights. All proceeds from the event were donated to Beds for Kids, an organization that helps families that do not have furniture for their home, benefiting children and their families in the Charlotte area.  

Ensemble Partners With Habitat for Humanity to Help a Family in Need

June 22, 2017 
Ensemble partnered with Habitat for Humanity on a home building project to help a deserving family in the Charlotte area move into a home they might not have been able to afford otherwise. Volunteers from Ensemble installed a “Hugs” safety rail system along the perimeter of the roof.  

Ensemble Partners With HFMA on National Women's Leadership Conference - HERe

June 9, 2017 
Ensemble has partnered with HFMA to bring HFMA's national Women's Leadership Conference – HERe – to Ensemble. The HERe initiative is an effort that aims to inspire not only women but men invested in the professional development of women leaders in the health care field with the tools and resources they need to succeed.  

Throughout this event, conference attendees learned about career development, skill building and the unique challenges facing women healthcare leaders in balancing their personal and professional lives. This is a pilot program made possible through Ensemble’s partnership with HFMA – and the first time that HFMA has offering this career development program directly to employers.  

Ensemble Health Partners Associates Donate $15,000 to Support Relay for Life

Ensemble Health Partners associates raised over $15,000 to support the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event in Huntersville, NC. The money raised through Relay for Life events helps realize the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate life and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Donations are used to fund life-saving cancer research, patient support services, prevention and education information and detection and treatment programs. 

Welcome New Patient Access Leaders

We are pleased to welcome three new leaders to the Ensemble Patient Access team at HackensackUMC Mountainside in New Jersey:  

• Lesly Vece, Director, Patient Access
• Renee Howson, Manager, Patient Access
• Maria Martinez, Manager, Patient Access  

Lesly previously served as Director of Patient Access at Saint Clare’s Health System, where she oversaw all functions of Patient Access at four Saint Clare’s hospitals. In this role, she had oversight of 68 team members and over 55 services at the hospital.  

Renee joins the team from Good Samaritan Hospital, where she previously held a similar role as Patient Access Manager. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Patient Access department with a staff of 30 registrars and two supervisors.  

Maria joins us from Saint Clare’s Health System, where she was the Manager of Central Scheduling and Financial Counseling. She brings a strong background in customer relations and her dedication to serving patients, team members and clients will be a great addition to the team.  

Mike Bartlett Named Senior Director, Revenue Cycle

Ensemble Welcomes Shannon White, Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle

Ensemble Health Partners is pleased to welcome Shannon White as Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle. Shannon is a senior revenue cycle operations executive with a proven history of leading successful teams to implement financial systems and strategies that improve financial performance.

Prior to joining Ensemble, Shannon served as vice president of the Shared Services Center for Fort Smith, LLC, a subsidiary of Community Health Systems. She oversaw the growth of the Shared Service Center from a standalone business office to 53 facilities operating in nine states.

Working with the governor of Arkansas, she negotiated $22 million in rebate programs and economic development incentives for the organization. Under her leadership, her team grew to more than 700 team members. Within Fort Smith, this growth was a tremendous accomplishment and reflective of her organization becoming the employer of choice. Through various cost savings initiatives and efficiency, she improved cost to collect, year over year. She also maintained a cash collection to net revenue percentage of 103% or above annually and led a reduction of net AR days to 53.

Ensemble Health Partners Growing in Huntersville

Ensemble Health Partners, headquartered in Huntersville, is expanding into 30,000 square feet, at 13620 Reese Blvd East, Suite 200 in The Park Huntersville, to accommodate their rapid growth. The company plans to create 120 jobs immediately with continued growth in the coming years. The 120 employees hired will begin work this summer.

Huntersville’s new 674-acre development off Gilead Road is about to get its biggest tenant to date. Ensemble Health Partners is about to move into a 30,870-square-foot space in the park’s Alexander Building next month and will be hiring an additional 120 full time employees in the process.

Ensemble Health Partners Growing in Huntersville

Ensemble Health Partners is gaining ground in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle arena as well as among our Lake Norman Region. Since locating an office in Huntersville, North Carolina in October of 2014, their on-site team has grown from four to 54 associates and continues to expand. Over the next two months, the local office will double in size, adding over 55 additional positions, an exciting development for Huntersville’s economy.
